My Definition of Spirit

Chemicals that have an affinity for each other will have a tendency to create a bond, and a tendancy to remain in that bond. My spirit has an affinity for this time and place, this here and now. What some may call God I name Spirit and Spirit arises through my bond with this realm, this existence. So Spirit is that which has arisen due to my bond of affinity. As chemicals have an affinity, I believe that vibrations have an affinity. This vibration of my essential being , the part of me that exists outside of time, that which is eternal, has an affinity for the vibration that sings beyond the beyond and has drawn me to this dance of Dharma. Throughout each lifetime that I have cycled through, I have danced to this place and will continue dancing as long as it is my desire to bond with any vibration that is irresistible. This to me is Spirit - the bond that is created through the irresistible affinity of one vibration to another.

The Spirit Dancing

I experience the world as Vibration and I name that Vibration Spirit. I see Spirit Dancing in everything. Every rock, every River, every Toad, and every Tree is a Temple to Spirit. I am here I believe because I have an affinity to the composition of this planet, this plane, this realm of reality that I have agreed to share.
According to Britannica Online A spirit Dance is a quest for personal power. As I see it, this is not the attainment of power over something outside of myself but the aquisition of power within. The power to create calm in the micst of chaos, chaos in the midst of calm. The quest for equilibrium through the balance of behaviour. Erey moment presents a choice to manifest the world I want to live in.
This is the dance that is offered every day. The cycle of darkness and light that each day brings. The moon rises and sets, the sun does the same and each creates an equilibrium of experience.
